My Beauty Routine while Traveling (5 TIPS) | Sophie Shohet

My Skincare and Beauty Routine (plus packing tips) for traveling (going on holiday / vacation). If you have a complicated skincare routine and use lots of different products, I hope my tips help you! These are:
1. Try and find 1 or 2 products that deliver multiple results. E.g. In a week, I’ll normally exfoliate/wear a facemask and include a peel in my routine. Instead of taking 3 separate products, I am taking just 1 that does all 3 (this is the Gatineau Gommage treatment)
2. Find yourself a nice travel vanity case and make sure it’s big enough to be reasonable regards space – but not so big that you’re tempted to overfill it (think excess baggage!!)
3. Miniatures: Many brands sell miniature versions of our favourite products, very often they come in gift sets. If you are looking to scale-down, either ask to be given some samples of the product(s) you normally buy. Or buy the little travel pots from Boots/Sephora – these you can decant what you need into.
4. If there are things in your routine that you can do before you go, which mean not having to take additional items with you – do it before you go!
5. Make-up: I ALWAYS take too much makeup and in reality, I wear less makeup on holiday than in my everyday life (so lots of the stuff I take away I don’t use!) Try and plan ahead and take essential items with you that are suitable for the climate you’ll be in (e.g. Cold/Humid/Hot)
