NIGHTMARE TRAVEL DAY! Flights CANCELED & More Delays!!
We had one problem after another when trying to get to San Diego!! I have always been an advocate for flying in the day before your cruise. Well this time, we were scheduled to fly in two days early so we could explore San Diego, a city we had never visited before. Well… our first flight was canceled… then our second had a three plus hour delay which made us miss our connection and we had to spend the night in Dallas. Exploring the BEAUTIFUL Port of Curacao!! ABC Islands Cruise
Did you know that the ABC islands are not geographically in alphabetical order?? First we visited Aruba and second up is Curacao. It is an overcast day, and we were at the beach yesterday, so we are feeling something different. This is a great port to walk and explore and that is exactly what we did! There is a great old fort that has a new life… as a shopping and eating area… very cool! And a pedestrian bridge that is floating on pontoons links the two sides of the city. FIRST TIME Exploring ARUBA! ABC Islands Cruise
We are so excited to be in the first stop of the ABC Island… Aruba! And now we can say we have been to all the places in Kokomo (by the Beach Boys)… are you singing it now?? We decided to rent a jeep and go exploring! So, what do we do??? First stop was Palm Beach Second Stop Arashi Beach Third stop California light house and the we go off roading to the shore… and play with the coral! Is Half Moon Cay the BEST ISLAND in the Bahamas???
It has been three years since we stepped foot on Half Moon Cay… and we are so excited to be back! This is the private island owned by Holland America Line… and in our opinion… has the most beautiful sand and water in all of the Bahamas! We just sailed on the NCL Breakaway for the first ever Vloggers cruise! What is a Vloggers cruise you ask?? It was getting creators and fans of the cruise content on YouTube together for a sailing… and it was AMAZING! We had almost 900 people total and we pretty much took over the ship!
