We thought it would be a really good idea to rent a van to drive all around Peru with. We’ve driven tens of thousands of miles as a family so we have loads of experience with road travel. After a few days in country though we realized that this time, driving wasn’t what we thought. Eventually we decided to take the penalty and turn the van in.
