THIS PLACE IS STRAIGHT OUT OF A FAIRY TALE (except for one HUGE problem)

We went to Jalpan de Serra in the Mexican state of Queretaro and this is what happened.

Jalpan de Serra is up in the mountains of Queretaro, Mexico. They call these mountains “la sierra gorda”. In la sierra gorda there are several “magic towns”, one of which is Jalpan de Serra.

In Jalpan, we rented the most unique home that we’ve ever stayed in! It’s a tiny home that’s shaped like a teapot, is round, and made from straw and mud.

We also had our first experience with a “dry bathroom” (GROSS!)
